Planning and Governance Specialist

Pay: $60,000.00 – $69,000.00 per year

Job description:

Extreme Auto Transport is a leading logistics company with over 25 years of experience in the auto transport industry. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Planning and Governance Specialist to join our dynamic Planning team.

The Planning and Governance Specialist supports the company’s strategic and operational planning processes and assists in maintaining governance policies and internal control frameworks. This role plays a key supporting function in the execution of annual and mid-term plans, logistics project tracking, performance monitoring, and policy enforcement. Reporting directly to the Planning & Governance Manager, the specialist works cross-functionally with operations, logistics, finance, and leadership to ensure business plans and governance standards are implemented effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting, consolidating, and analyzing planning data

• Support the preparation of annual and mid-term business plans, including templates and schedules

• Track progress of key strategic and operational initiatives

• Assist with KPI monitoring, dashboards, and monthly/quarterly performance report

• Help document, update, and enforce internal policies and approval workflows

• Maintain version control and filing for key governance documents

• Help track and optimize routes, capacity plans, and transportation performance data

• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Finance, Operations, Network Planning)

• Prepare reports and presentations for the Planning & Governance Manager and leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Financial Planning, Administration or a related field

• Ability to work 100% in office out of Duluth, GA

• Bilingual in Korean and English is a requirement

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with time-sensitive tasks

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications

• Basic understanding of business planning processes and internal controls

• Ability to maintain confidentiality, act with professionalism, and exercise sound judgment

• Experience in Business Intelligence tools like Power BI
