Company Description:

We are looking for someone who has safety management experience in a manufacturing environment. This position will report directly to the Leader of the Smart Factory teams and have full responsibility for managing safety of our location.

 

Job Summary:

The Safety Manager will be responsible for administering and implementing the Health and Safety programs that ensure compliance with statutory requirements to promote safe and healthy working conditions. Performs complex assignments, maintains schedules, directs professional team members and contractors, and follows the direction of the designated client representative. The Safety Manager will support, create, manage, and implement environmental health and safety policies and procedures.

Job Description:

Duties & Essential Job Functions:

• Manage day-to-day project safety initiatives and provide oversight of regulations and policies.

• Assist with development of site-specific plans and procedures covering a variety of safety issues.

• Implement site safety plans and procedures.

• Coordinate collection and analysis of safety metrics throughout the year.

• Lead Incident Investigations.

• Collect data, establish facts, perform root cause analysis and draws valid conclusions. Report to Corporate Health and Safety recommending corrective and preventative actions.

• Prepare required documentation and incident reporting and create safety alerts.

• Develop hazard mitigation practices while overseeing Site Safety auditing practices.

• Monitor, maintain, and implement Safety Management System programs to ensure compliance in accordance with all company, local, state, and federal regulations.

• Observe and ensure implementation of Safe Work Practices on site including compliance with site safety requirements. • Evaluate hazards in work tasks, work environments, and JSA’s with team.

• Conduct or coordinate the scheduling of any safety training required.

Qualifications:

• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification preferred

• 4-5 years of experience in Health and Safety management, preferably on large manufacturing or construction projects. • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.

• Sound knowledge of HSE systems, metrics, KPIs and tools, statistical methods, Continuous Improvement methodology and an understanding of the OSHA and related regulations

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver sustainable and superior results.

• Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• 프로젝트의 일상적인 안전 활동을 관리하고 규정 및 정책 준수를 감독

• 다양한 안전 문제를 다루는 현장 맞춤형 계획 및 절차 수립 지원

• 현장 안전 계획 및 절차 실행

• 연간 안전 지표 수집 및 분석 조율

• 사고 조사 주도

• 데이터 수집, 사실 확인, 근본 원인 분석 수행 및 유효한 결론 도출

본사 HSE 부서에 시정 및 예방 조치 권고

• 필수 문서 및 사고 보고서 작성, 안전 경고 발행

• 위험 완화 방안 수립 및 현장 안전 감사 실행

• 회사 및 연방/주/지방 규정에 따른 안전 관리 시스템(SMS) 유지 및 실행

• 현장에서 안전 작업 관행(Safe Work Practice)이 이행되도록 모니터링 및 확인

• 팀과 함께 작업 환경 및 작업 과제, 위험 평가서(JSA) 평가

• 필요한 안전 교육 실시 또는 일정 조율

자격 요건:

• OSHA(산업안전보건청) 인증 보유자 우대

• 건강 및 안전 분야 4~5년 경력 (대규모 제조 또는 건설 프로젝트 경험 우대)

• 산업안전보건 또는 관련 분야 학사 학위

• HSE 시스템, 지표, KPI, 통계 기법, 지속적 개선 방법론 및 OSHA 관련 규정에 대한 이해

• 빠르게 변화하는 환경에서도 탁월한 성과를 지속적으로 낼 수 있는 역량

• 여러 업무를 동시에 관리할 수 있는 뛰어난 프로젝트 및 시간 관리 능력
